Welcome to the Office of the Deputy Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs and Research. Our primary goal is to provide a better teaching and learning platform for our students. We work closely with our staff to achieve the best quality of education and relish our students’ academic journey.

Holder of Master’s Degree in Philosophy of Education and another in Human Rights and Humanitarian Action. Rev. Dr. Quinet Obed Niyikiza has a PhD in Science of Education and he is specialized in Active and Participative Pedagogy at Higher Education.
He has experience in teaching in Higher Education, where he was the Academic Secretary in the Faculty of Education in Protestant Institute of Arts and Social Sciences. He has taught in several universities of Rwanda. He also gives seminars in some universities in Germany.
Since 2013, Rev. Dr. Niyikiza has been the Deputy Chairperson of Center for Education and Culture of Peace (CECUP) in Nurnberg, Germany and their Legal Representative in Rwanda. He is also a Consultant for Bread for the World/Germany since 2015.
